@Road, the leading provider of end to end solutions for mobile resource management (MRM), has rebranded as Trimble Mobile Resource Management (“Trimble MRM”). The new name is a natural development for @Road following its acquisition by Trimble (Nasdaq: TRMB) in February 2007 and creates a one stop shop for businesses wanting to optimize fleet performance and service delivery. In addition, the move has been accompanied by the continued expansion of the European office with three new appointments to the Ipswich based sales team.
Trimble MRM combines a wealth of experience and products in
GPS tracking, with the backing of a global company. Through the use of state-of-the-art technologies, its easy to use solutions can help meet individual
fleet management requirements, reducing operating costs while increasing mobile worker productivity and customer service. Following the acquisition, solutions now encompass a range of flexible options from standard vehicle tracking to those including capabilities like WiFi hotspots and specialised reporting.
One product already introduced by Trimble into Europe from America is TrimWeb, offering businesses of all sizes simple and effective vehicle tracking from just 71 pence per day, all inclusive. The company is also demonstrating its continued commitment to the end to end management of field resources with the v8 launch of its best in class scheduling product, Taskforce, the first new solution to be offered under the Trimble MRM banner.
Andrew Yeoman, Managing Director of EMEA, said “I am delighted to announce this re-brand alongside the continued expansion of our European office. The endorsement of the Trimble name, together with our new appointments, gives us a fantastic platform from which to continue to grow, offering the European market the very best in Fleet Management solutions.
“In particular, the combination of @Road and Trimble expertise has already meant that we can now offer something for everyone. Whatever their size, Trimble MRM can help businesses address a variety of issues from reducing fuel consumption to fleet safety and even help them meet health and safety requirements.”
Trimble was founded in 1978 and headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, has a worldwide presence with more than 3,600 employees in over 18 countries.
